Influent Energy proudly delivered a state-of-the-art 2MW rooftop solar installation at Trane Technologies commercial HVAC manufacturing plant in Pueblo, CO to help support their organizational sustainability commitments. In a little more than nine months, we brought this system from concept to commissioning!

The plant rooftop is now equipped with 2MW of solar energy attached via standing metal seams with no penetrations! Influent Energy established two interconnection points during the system’s installation to take advantage of the 500kW limit on the Performance Based Initiative offered by Black Hills Energy. Black Hills’ PBI program offers an additional source of funding for qualified projects and rewards the energy generated, affirming the project’s effectiveness and design.

Influent Energy and the Pueblo team closely collaborated to ensure project milestones were met and surpassed while maintaining the uninterrupted flow of the plant’s daily operations. As a result of this teamwork and strategic planning, potential logistical hurdles were proactively addressed and the system was successfully executed on schedule.
