Belding Area Schools, Belding, Michigan

Influent Energy was the EPC for the design and installation of an impressive 827.6 kW distributed solar PV system for Belding Area Schools. This remarkable project involved the installation of five rooftop solar energy systems, strategically positioned across the District's campus in Belding, Michigan. The selected sites for these systems encompass Woodview Elementary (200.4 kW), Ellis Elementary (196.8 kW), Middle School (150 kW), High School (200.4 kW), and Special Education (80 kW).

Influent Energy successfully turned Belding Area School's renewable energy aspirations into a tangible reality by integrating a total of 827.6 kW of solar energy. As a result, the District now benefits from a clean, green, and renewable energy source that powers its operations. Moreover, this solar initiative offers a unique educational opportunity for the students of Belding Area Schools. Through our K-12 curriculum called "Generating Tomorrow," students can delve into the fascinating world of solar PV systems and renewable energy, gaining valuable insights into energy sources, efficiency, and much more.

Following a comprehensive month of standard testing and seamless interconnection, the solar systems are now impressively generating over 1,059,000 kWh/year. Influent Energy's seasoned team skillfully utilized their expertise to efficiently develop, design, and install all five solar PV systems. The resounding success of this project owes much to the dedicated efforts of our proficient operations and maintenance team, alongside the valuable support from local Michigan installation professionals.
